Full-Time Beertender / Bartender
About the Job:
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming, educational and inviting experience in the taproom β prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with company standards.
Responsibilities Include:
~Utilize craft beer knowledge to ensure proper pouring & serving of the beers, educating the customer and observing an overall respect of the product we serve
~Process transactions including credits, refunds, loading gift cards, discounts as needed. Troubleshoot POS or transactions as needed.
~Maintain daily cleanliness of work area, taproom, bathrooms, patio, draft cooler and all surrounding areas
~Ability to follow established SOPs for opening and closing including cleaning, restocking, updating inventory as needed.
~Provide excellent customer service including upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities.
~Ensure customer safety and periodic quality control of products served.
~Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
~High school diploma or G.E.D.
~Flexibility to work shifts as assigned including longer shifts and weekends, as needed
~Ability to work both independently based on established SOPs as well as being able to understand team dynamics to work effectively as a member of a group.
~Progressive thinker. Ability to assist in evolving SOPs for Open, Closing, Cleaning, Inventory and Daily procedures based on best practices and to increase efficiencies.
~Be able to lift, lower, move and manage heavy items (in excess of 65lbs) unassisted.
~Consistent and effective communication. Using sound judgement to be able to know appropriate times to communicate with Owners / Staff.
The ideal candidate may also possess:
~Prior food/beverage experience a plus
~Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
Compensation:
~Hourly compensation based on experience, paid weekly on Fridays
~This is a non-exempt position and (though none is expected) overtime will be paid at 1.5x the compensation rate for any hours over 40 in a given pay period

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen workspace while efficiently preparing and serving pub-style foods in our small fast-paced taproom kitchen.
Responsibilities Include:
~Utilize best practices and standards of operation to ensure proper preparation and plating of foods
~Clean and restock work area throughout shift.
~Maintain daily cleanliness of work area and follow food safety guidelines
~Ability to follow established SOPs for opening and closing kitchen including cleaning, restocking, updating inventory as needed.
~Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
~Other tasks as assigned.
